Woops

Thomas flew out to Albuquerque today and he was still piddling around the house this morning while I was trying to get ready for work which always throws me off schedule. I finally got home tonight around 11 and I thought it was odd that Princess Bella didn't meet me at the door and I was almost scared to come into the empty house. As I stepped inside and set my things down I didn't see her anywhere...but I could hear her. Bella was wailing...and very upset and hungry after being locked in my closet all day.

Poor thing, I feel terrible about it. She is not allowed in that closet and I can't figure out how she snuck in there when I wasn't watching. She's resilient and all fed now. Plus, I told her it was all Thomas' fault.~

3 years ago today...

We were excited about the news of our paperwork being officially "logged in."

At that time we had no idea we would be waiting this long for Ladybug.

But here we are...3 years and still waiting...

You're Invited

Sears is having a Friends and Family Event on Sunday, March 29 from 6-9 pm and you're invited! It's honestly the best time to buy an appliance if you've been considering one. Plus, take the entry form in for a chance to win a $50 gift card.

Tagged

I was tagged on Facebook to give 25 random facts about myself. I considered doing this and then I thought...25?! That's a lot of randomness! Then Cocoa Daisy put up the mid March challenge which was to scrapbook this concept instead of just making a list. One of my random facts is that I do love a good challenge. Here's my take:

Gardening 101

Whenever the weather warms up, it spurs a trip to the nursery to look at flowers and plants. I don't claim to have a green thumb whatsoever as it totally skipped me in the family gene. Both my parents can grow anything ... Why can't I? Last summer, I bought a gorgeous hibiscus tree for the patio with braided tree legs. I loved this little tree, paid a small fortune for it, and was given a one year growth warranty. Sadly, it passed away over the winter. I gardened in the backyard today and removed it from the pot to make room for a new little hibiscus bush. I'm marching back up to the retailer with my receipt later today to see if they will exchange the dead one! Perhaps they will honor their commitment or perhaps they will laugh at me and tell me to find a new hobby. We shall see.

Delivery truck

That little wild hair that I had last weekend...never did get plucked. We window shopped from one furniture store to another and ended up finding exactly what we were wanting. It was delivered on Friday!

I'm now going to rationalize it and say we needed to do this before picking up our little ladybug from China. After Ladybug gets here, I have a feeling she'll be on the receiving end of all our wild hairs!

Happy Monday!
