Disney Day 2 - Hollywood Studios

We started our second day with breakfast at Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios.  Our reservation was before the park was even open so we were able to catch this fun picture in the middle of the street.  Hollywood Studios was definitely one of my favorite parks and this breakfast is a must do if you have a young one that loves to sing and dance.  The characters were Jake the pirate, Oso, June from Little Einsteins and Handy Manny.

I love this show on Disney Jr called Sofia the First but Ladybug doesn't want to watch it too often.  She's not really into the whole princess thing...at least not yet.

The best ride was Buzz Light Year where you got to shoot things and try to beat your partner!

I heard about yelling, "There comes Andy!" a little too late for this trip.  Evidently, when you do that they both drop down to the floor.  Too funny and I would have loved to have seen that.

Checking the map, where to next?

There are some yummy treats at Disney World.  I actually think EVERYTHING tastes better at Disney.

We're off on our Disney Adventure

We stayed at the Pop Century resort and it's definitely a value resort.  If I could have a do-over, this would be the only thing that I would change about the entire trip.  The rooms were fine, they reminded me of a Motel 6.  (More like 10 Motel 6's near each other, this resort was huge.) But the service was horrible, they didn't take care of any of my requests which were for all of us to have adjoining rooms and small fridges.  Quite frankly, they weren't interested in helping us to get these things fixed until the next day and after we had kept on and on about the situation.

We were able to participate in the test for the Disney Magic Bands!  We all wore these bracelets the entire trip and used them for our tickets to the parks, to enter our hotel room, and to even buy food and merchandise.  Loved this and the ability to load fast passes for the rides onto them too!  I definitely recommend to take advantage of this option.

Our first night after arriving we headed straight to Epcot.  Our plan was to not spend a full day there so we knocked it out on arrival day and had a table dinner at Chefs de France.  It was probably the best table dinner that we had the entire trip.  The chef even came out and talked to me about my low sodium options and cooked me a special dinner to fit that need.  I was extremely pleased!

While walking around Epcot, we met a few friends.  As you can see the little girl that used to cry when she saw the Chic-fil-a cow was not scared of these characters at all!  The best part of our trip was meeting the characters and watching her face just light up and get so excited.  Our luggage was not at the hotel yet, so we didn't have the autograph book for Epcot, so sad.  I can't wait to show you our awesome autograph book.

Mickey gets a kiss on the nose!

We took advantage of every photo pass photographer and photo op that we saw!  So much fun!

Leaving Today for Disney!

We've waited a long time for this Disney vacation and we're going all out.  We are headed out today on a plane for our week long adventure.  We told Ladybug just two days ago that we were going to Disney and she was super excited to be going to see Mickey Mouse.  I am too!

I'm seriously considering moving the plates and cups lower so she can put those away as well.~
