Weekend at the Lake

We spent the weekend in a cabin at an old favorite hangout Eliott Lake. Coco and I grew up camping, swimming and fishing out there. It's on the army depot base that Gdad retired from and was quite the chore to get us signed up to enjoy it! The cabins were cozy and nice...but very different from La Cabin at Lake Darbonne. We like both!

Ladybug had a blast and was quite the little fisherman.

Honorary Duck Master at The Peabody

We took a little vacation to Memphis last week with no special reason for choosing Memphis other than it was within driving distance.  T picked a fabulous hotel and surprised Ladybug with being the Honorary Duckmaster at 11:00 am to lead the ducks to the hotel lobby fountain.  This was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Yes, they made it.

It was a great and memorable experience for all of us.  Ladybug was thrilled and has not stopped talking about it.

Summer Bubble Fun

I wish I could take credit for this idea of putting bubbles in the swimming pool. Ladybug's summer babysitter gets all the credit! Fun times!

Happy 4th!

She's still a little uncomfortable around loud noises so we have fun with a few mild fireworks like sparklers. Hope your day was awesome!

Girls Trip

We just spent a super busy weekend in Mississippi going to a baby shower, family reunion, church and anniversary party. At one point Ladybug said, "Are we going to church AGAIN?" Haha, why yes we are.
