Picture of the Day

Notice those cute, little green toes?  Ladybug picked out her own color in the nail salon today.

She was fascintated about the water in the bottom of my tub...and that she had no water.  After pointing that out around twelve times, I handed her the Ipod....and she curled up sideways to wait for the paint to dry.

At 3 Yrs + 4 Months

*Ladybug's learning to draw her letters and cut with scissors.

*Her asking skills are a little better, but we still hear a few "I needs..."

*She's gotten really good at her "yes maam" and "yes sir"...who cares if she doesn't get the gender right every time.

*I love how she answers a question with an entire sentence instead of just a one word answer.

*She still wants to do everything herself and usually succeeds.

*Still no interest in the potty.  Although, she always wants to see her poopy...so we tell her she has to use the potty if she wants to see it.  Ha!

Scrappy Stuff

I wanted to share another scrapbook layout that I completed this past week.  I'm still trying to do at least one page a month, especially highlighting many of the Stampin'Up! products.

This page was inspired by a page in the new Stampn'Up! catalog.  Do you have yours yet?

You can check it out HERE.

What happened?

I didn't really mean to do it, honestly it just sort of happened.  And I thought I would be more upset about it than I am...but it really looks soooo much better.

Yes, Buggy and I stopped by the salon for a quick trim.  I really wanted the ends just evened up and all one length since the sides seemed shorted than the back.  It's a little shorter than I had anticipated, but I suppose it will all keep growing.

Love this girl with her shorter, sassy hair.

Enjoy your weekend,
Deana

June Blog Hop

This month's Blog Hop is all about using a sketch to create a card or scrapbook layout.  Sometimes, it's really helpful having a jumping off point when you're in a creative lull.

Here's Tina's sketch:

And here's what I created using the brand new A Cherry on Top stamp set from Stampin'Up!

I love, love, love this new stamp set!  I'm especially partial to the cake balls because Coco is starting her own little cakeball business.  I hope to share more information about that very soon!

Be sure to leave a comment on everyone's blog post so you can have a chance to win this month's prize, the Everyday Elegance Card Pack.

Waiting for Mimi

We have a rare weekend off together and Mimi and Papa should be here any minute for a fun-filled day.

By the way, this is Mia.  Her name came from one of our tour guides' daughter when we were in China.

Enjoy your day,
Deana
