Pink Shirt Day

Ladybug had pink shirt Friday at preschool and she was super excited to pick out her own pink shirt to wear.  Surprisingly, this one had a little button bling on it.  I've actually quit buying clothes with buttons because it's just not worth the fight.  I hope she outgrows this soon.

Oh, and notice how her friend of choice changes almost daily?  Today sheep wanted to go to school with her.

Weekend Adventure

We took advantage of a rare weekend off together and headed north to Oklahoma for a night.  We stopped at every cool place we could find along the way...including any scrapbook stores.  T is such a good sport about that.  We also checked out Miranda Lambert's store in Tishomingo called The Pink Pistol.  On Sunday, we spent the morning at Arbuckle Wilderness and checked out Turner Falls before heading on home.

I wasn't going to share this video, but it's hilarious.  The Arbuckle is a drive through zoo and some of the animals are quite friendly.  Check out this camel that wanted to be our friend.

More Pool Fun

Ladybug asked me if we could go to the swimming pool and my response to her was that Daddy would be home on Friday.  She smartly responded, "We can just go by ourselves!" Hmmm, well we could.

I find myself not venturing too much with Buggy by myself for fear that I'll have a vertigo attack while out and about.  It would be difficult to deal with me AND her if that were to happen.  I suppose my solution is just to avoid those situations.  

But it's been a good week and I've actually been feeling pretty great so we DID go to the pool...and by ourselves.  We had a blast and stayed for almost two hours.  I couldn't help but take a few pictures.
