All Smiles Today
Remember the little wooden rocking chair? See how much she has changed since February here. I remember thinking that she was going to tumble out of the chair and this time she was rocking that chair!
We're not going to miss another month! I love that she has so much more color and her little face is filling out.

We're Celebrating
Today is a celebration of 3 months with our Ladybug!
She is growing and changing almost every day and we are loving the latest changes that we've seen:
*She's finally saying Mama and it warms my heart to hear it!
*I hear her babbling and using repetitive words quite often.
*Her mobility is scooting around or diving towards something. I can't leave her unattended on the bed anymore!
*Ladybug is now standing for long periods of time while leaning. Her legs are becoming less wobbly every day. She can also pull herself up while holding my hands.
*Her favorite foods are applesauce, grits, oatmeal and goldfish.
*She's always wanted to knock toys down or pull them apart but now she's beginning to construct or pile them into a container.
Amanda dropped this little toy by today for her to play with. It's the coolest toy ever...haven't seen anything like it in the stores! It plays music, which she loves, and has buttons to push. She also gave Ladybug a bag full of shoes in size 1. Yay, for cute flip flops, sandals, and even a pair of pink Nikes. Photos of the shoe cuteness coming soon!
She is such a happy girl! Love her so much! <3

Our adventure with the cup continues
Ladybug pushed away the sippy cup numerous times until I pulled off the sippy lid.
Watch as her whole body shakes with excitement as she lunges for the cup, takes a quick drink then pushes it away....only to grab for it again and again.
p.s. You might be able to hear T and I laughing.....we had trouble holding it in.

Splish Splash
Ladybug loves her bath time. She could play for hours in the water with her little squirt toys. We can't wait for the pool to open up!
T is in Oklahoma City for a few days and I'm hoping he returns home with Diet Red. I've been busy with work the past 6 days straight and I'm so excited to get to spend my day off tomorrow with Bug.
More soon,
Deana

Ladybugs and Bluebonnets
While I was working today, T had his own private day with Ladybug. They drove down to the farmer's market and strolled around then did some window shopping at one of the strip malls. I had thrusted the camera into his hands this morning before I left and was pleasantly surprised to find these bluebonnet pictures on the camera when I got home.
Looks like and Daddy and daughter enjoyed their day together.
Huggles,
Deana

Hello, my name is...
...and I have a shoe obsession. Not shoes for myself, but cute little fun infant shoes. I had to have a pair when we traveled to China and was sad when I realized they were only 2 sizes too big. I quickly found out that finding shoes for her petite feet wasn't going to be easy. I can count at least 4 pair of sassy summer sandals just waiting. But that little foot, it hasn't grown a bit!
When she began to stand, I decided that she had to have a pair of walking shoes. Hello? That has to be the magic pill that makes her get up and go, am I right? Oh, and these walking shoes cost as much as an adult pair of shoes! Woah.
Today, the wild hair said she needed sandals. Flip flops or sandals that she could wear right now instead of wait to grow into. I came home with nothing. We tried on plenty though! The pair that actually fit her at was a size 0-3 months. Crazy tiny little feet...I couldn't bring myself to buy them. The size alone scared me away.
The obsession has subsided for now...but I'm sure it will be back.

Happy Easter
Buggy had a fun Easter with lots of eggs filled with Gerber puffs. We also dyed eggs together and she ate her first boiled egg too. She's pretty picky about different textures of food, so after about half of it she was shaking her head no.
T and I reluctantly decided to promote Ladybug and move the crib back upstairs into her room. After being in our room since we returned from China, I was a little worried about the transition. I even had plans to sleep upstairs in her room but changed my mind after not hearing a peep on the baby monitor the entire evening. She was sleeping so soundly! I was ready to bolt upstairs on even the sound of a whimper, but never had to. She was a happy girl when I woke her up at 7 am.
