I also had a wild hair to make chocolates from a $3 mold that I drove to downtown Dallas for. Ha, what was I thinking...check out my first attempt. These ladybugs lost their spots! I'm glad I decided to practice them first.
I can't wait to share all of the party details in a few weeks.
I'm headed back to the chocolate mold...only good thing about the practice runs is getting to eat the mistakes!

It's fun planning birthday parties for your daughter. I have to say the ladybug platter is very cute. You are very creative and will get those spots to stay on the ladybug before the party. I know you and it will be done, I can't wait.
I can't wait to see everything esp. the real ladybug and her family. Love Mimi
I am anxious to discover what you do for the feast of Ladybug. You always have great ideas!
